Seahawks Player Grades
Defensive Line
1) Chris Clemons (B+)
Last week B
THE GOOD:
Chris pressured the quarterback 4 times, one of which he had an amazing jump off the ball and was in the backfield before the Tackle could react. He also had a couple quarterback hits and did a good job in pursuit on a screen play.
THE BAD:
On the first end around he lost outside contain when he crashed down to support the run. Clemons got pancaked and called for offsides.
2) Red Bryant and Brandon Mebane (B-)
Last week: Red B- and Brandon B
THE GOOD:
Bryant was able to fight off blockers to make a tackle for a short gain and had a couple quarterback pressures. Mebane held strong at the point of attack when he was double teamed and was doing a good job collapsing the middle of the pocket.
THE BAD:
On third and short when the Ravens ran a quarterback sneak they both were blown off the line and the quarterback picked up the first easily.
4) Alan Branch and Anthony Hargrove (C+)
Last week: Alan led the line with an A and Anthony had a C.
THE GOOD:
Branch had a big hit on Ricky Williams and had good backside pursuit on another play. Hargrove had a nice block on a kick return, a quarterback pressure and a quarterback hit.
THE BAD:
Alan fell down rushing the passer on one play. Anthony missed a tackle on a sack and was called for offsides.
6) Raheem Brock and Clinton McDonald (D)
Last week: Raheem B- and Clinton C
THE GOOD:
There is nothing good to say about either player this week.
